The Waikato boys played their hearts out on the final day of the 25th Junior Boys Interprovincials.  They were playing off against Hawkes Bay where it was looking like it could go either way but Ricci Putohe pulled his match back after being 4 down after thru 14 holes to finish A/S.  Hunter Ussher, the number 1 for Waikato also stagged a great comeback and won his match 2/1.  Waikato won over Hawkes Bay 4.5 to 1.5 and finished 5th overall.
