The Riverside Golf Club (Lochiel Course) hosted the Women's U19 Championships from the 11th - 13th January. With a strong field of 61 girls competing in their respective age groups there was some impressive golf to be watched.

Leading the field with some outstanding scores was Ayean Cho (Sherwood Park) with a nineteen under par total and rounds of 66, 67, 64. The 16 year old took out the overal title as well as the U17 division gold medal. A further 12 shots behind with a seven under par total was Jungsoo Lee (Helensville). Lee also played some excellent golf with a suberb final round score of 67 to give her the silver medal. In third place with consistent rounds was Miree Jung (Titirangi) finishing of 2 under par.

Waikato Junior and Senior representative Zeta Syme (Cambridge) was the top local girl with a credible final round score of 73. Zeta had rounds of 74, 81, 73 to finish in the top 10 in her age group.
