This event is proving to be a good opportunity for talented players in the Waikato Region to be noticed and by the play of some there will be a number who will be projecting themselves to higher honours later.

12-14 Boys qualifyer was Sam Vincent of the Lochiel Golf Club. Sam will be a worthy representative as his golf aided by consistent coaching at St.Peters School is progressing extremely well suggesting that more will be heard of him in the near future.

11 and Under Boys. The selected player from this division was another very promising and consistent performer in Jack Trower from the Matamata Golf Club. Jack spends a lot of time on the Matamata Course as he is lucky to live right next door to the 10th fairway. Another promising young player whose future progress will be worth watching.

11 and Under Girls
Katherine Janphanich of Hamilton Golf Club qualified by playing sound golf to gain selection. Although still very young Katherine is working hard at her game which should bring its rewards as she progresses.
Congratulations to all those who have been selected. Their golfing futures appear exciting and we wish them well for the Nationals in April.
